Captain EO

Directed by acclaimed director Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather), Captain EO was a 3-D movie starred Michael Jackson and Anjelica Huston and ran from 1986 to 1994 at Epcot's Future World. Captain EO was soon replaced by Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, another 3-D film based upon the hit 1989 movie, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Today, Ariel's Grotto and a Winnie the Pooh playground partially replace the once vibrant 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea attraction in Fantasyland at Disney's Magic Kingdom. Based on Jules Vernes' classic science fiction novel, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was one of the original attractions at Disney World but closed for good in 1994.

Disney's Animation Studio

Before Disney closed its Central Florida animation studio at Disney-MGM Studios in 2003, several animated films were worked on there such as Mulan (1998), Lilo & Stitch (2002) and Brother Bear (2003), among others.
